11 months

My baby is turning one in less then a month! Time is FLYING by so fast, that I have to really try hard to stop and enjoy the little moments. Lately it seems like Ezra is changing DAILY!!!! Ryan and I will look at each other and say, "he knows how to do that?" One of Ezra's newest things is shaking his head no. He does it when he is tired or when he is not feeling like he is getting what he needs. He loves to dance. When any music is on or just even if I sing he starts to dance. His new meal is a beans, rice, peas and broccoli combo. Ezra loves VINEGAR! We found this out because Ryan and I eat cucumbers with olive oil and balsamic vinegar a lot. One day we were giving Ezra a little bit of cucumber and he just kept sucking off the vinegar and leaving the cucumber. Ryan and I are both big vinegar fans, so I guess we shouldn't be surprised. Another favorite is kidney beans, he will scarf down a plate full pretty fast!!! He still really likes his dried fruit and sweet potatoes. He newest snack is rice crackers called mum-mums (we still aren't doing any wheat or dairy with him). STANDING....I almost forgot. Ezra stands on his own for about two minutes. Most of the time he stands longer then that but he "touches base" during that time. It is so fun to watch him grow!

25!

November 14, 2009
Well it happened....I got older!
My birthday celebrating started the night before my birthday. Karen took me out for a pedicure. I have not had a professional pedicure since I got married almost FIVE years ago! I woke up on my birthday to the smell of bacon. I turned to look at my clock and saw that it was 7:00 am.........what is going on?.....I thought to myself. Ryan should be at work. Ryan surprised me by taking the day off! He made me yummy breakfast sandwiches to start the day off right. I spent the day hanging out with my sisters and Karen while Ryan watched the kids. What can I say....HE'S THE BEST! After a fun day with the girls I came home to a steak dinner prepared by Ryan. He makes the BEST steak!!!! After dinner my sisters watched Ezra and Ryan took me to Yogartland (one of my new favorite places) and to see THE LION KING! I was so surprised!!!!
WHAT A DAY!

"Happy Birthday Mommy!"
Ezra loved the candles!
Thank you everyone for making my birthday so great!
A big thank you and a hug and kiss to my wonderful husband!!!!!!

They've gone to a land down under!

My Dad, Mom and three youngest siblings have moved to

AUSTRALIA!

In case this is something new to you let me give you some background info..... My dad was recruited to be a Chiropractor in Australia. The recruiter asked "How would you like to live in Australia?" I think my Dad said something like "Wouldn't that be nice!" Little did he know he was serious. After a process of interviews via phone/web cam, taking the Australian boards and lots of prayer, they decide to go.

My Dad left in July to get things going and my Mom and the kids just left November the 13th (Friday!)

Here Are the pictures from when Dad left.....

Now onto November........

We got to celebrate Mom's birthday before she left. I made one of our traditional Hungarian meals, Stuffed cabbage. Happy Birthday Mom!

(As I am starting to lose it)

Goodbye

Watching them go :(

It was hard to watch them leave! It is so weird that I can't just hop in the car and go to my Mom's whenever I want. This will take some getting used to. I am really going to miss them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited for them and this AMAZING opportunity!

I woke up, just like every other day......but this day was different. As I went out into the world everyone went along with their normal routine. HELLO......DON'T YOU PEOPLE KNOW MY FAMILY IS MOVING HALF WAY ROUND THE WORLD TODAY! But they didn't. When my eye fill with tears they didn't know, they didn't care.

How often are we the people who don't know and don't care? There are people around us everyday who are hurting! I hope we can all try to not get so caught up in ourselves and try to think of others.

WHAT CAN I DO FOR SOMEONE ELSE TODAY?

Just a thought.

Halloween P.S.

I failed to mention a couple of things on my Halloween post.
So here they are..............

Ezra's Halloween bag
I found this bag at the store, but all it had was the skeleton head with ugly green and yellow eyes. So, I ripped off the ugly eyes and painted my own in black, added the cross bones and painted the words.
Ezra was in two costumes contests and won them both!
This is the cool trophy he won.
